Hello,

I did a small scene depicting US troops storming the beaches on June 6th, 1944....the first unrealistic point beside the bulky anatomy is the weather. Today it was perfect sunshine outside, in Normandy 75 years ago the weather was very cloudy.

Figs are from Warlord games with some conversions (assault gas masks and gas indicator arm wraps)… Czech Hedgehogs are from Rubicon….

Have fun

Thomas

You seem to get quite a lot of beautiful sunshine in Bavaria, Thomas.

Are these men Army Rangers or Marines?

They look like 1st Infantry, ‘ The Big Red 1’.

Nice work but as you say a bit sunny for the sixth.

Best wishes,

Chris

You are Right Chris, 1st Infantry Division "Big Red One". Marines would be more suitable for the pacific theatre….as well as the blue sky.;-)
