Victrix Roman

Wonderfully painted Romans and the low camera angle really gives the figures that heroic look. Lovely piece of art.

The Gallic Warriors will be very interesting.

The shields appear a bit too thick to me, which I don’t really understand: at 28 mm scale, they should not be very fragile and I think Victrix could have made them thinner and more realistic looking.
But besides this minor remark, the figures look excellent and your masterly painting style highlights the crisp details in a brillant way.

The broken pilum spear looks to be a great head bonking weapon and well worth all the painting effort. Smashing painting results by the way. The curved rimmed shields look well primed for defensive action. Well presented topic Konrad.

In spite of not being a boxed set,i am thinking of buying a few myself. :coffee: O well, time for tea. BB
