Incredible painting, if your hand wasn't in the picture I would swear these were 1:12 figures at least. The sculpting of the figures is pretty darn good too.

I should say it was a real challenge and time consuming free hand labour, but hey let's be honest: It's just a lucky shot that makes it look like that.
The meal of swords blade has just been polished with metal wool and given a very light filter of blueish oil paint.
Sorry if I let you guys down...

On the contrary. Achieving an astonishing result using a quick and simple technique? I would say that this concept is nearly the very heart of Bennos Figure Forum.

No let down at all, I still think it looks terrific and steel wool and an oil glaze is something I could try sometime. If there was a bit of luck involved that's fine, serendipity is my favourite technique. Some of my favourite things have been the result of complete accidents.

The rest of the exquisite detail on show here is the result of consummate skill, I can only admire that.
