28mm Diorama "88 in the desert"

Posted by T. Dürrschmidt on 31 Oct 2018, 12:33

Hello,

the 88 mm Flak shown here is a pewter model made for 30mm flat figures. It is from an Austrian manufacturer who is at the Kulmbach show every two years. His models are amazing, ready built (not painted) and with moving parts. But it´s difficult to get the models you want from him, because he has no online shop. ...and he is an elderly person….so the output is not too big.

The crew is taken from different Perry sets. Hop you enjoy the pics.

Regards from the Oberpfalz!

Thomas

At first I thought that the first picture was a reference picture and then I saw the rest ...

Truly exemplary stuff!

The simplicity of the setting enhanced by the light and photography makes a masterpiece.

The wheel system I thought was dual tyres but no matter.

The front one looks wonky but this is caused by optics.

Well done you have achieved the goal of modelling in my opinion. A double take to convince yourself it's not real!

Best wishes,

Chris

Hi Gunnar and Chris. Thank you for the comments. @Chris....this is the earlier version of the 88. So the tires are correct. One in the front, double on the rear part of the trailer.

Very nice made as all your work.

Most impress me the slightly different scales and the rare 30mm made 88.
Fit very well for my eyes.
