SYW Austrian rebasing project

Posted by Fire at Will on 19 Sep 2018, 20:58

One of my projects for this year is to rebase my old mainly Revell SYW Austrian army. So here they are in the order they were worked on

The first of my Austrians have now been rebased

These are all "German" regiments - Kaiser (red), Stampach (yellow), Molkte (light blue), and Konigsegg (purple)

A couple of units of Grenadiers one German (red) and one Hungarian (blue) originally painted with no specific units in mind

By coat colour they are the Banal (blue), Karlstädter-Ottochaner (red), Slavonisch-Peterwardeiner (brown), Warasdiner-Creutzer (white)

I will be adding a command group, when I move onto rebasing the generals.

Excellent work. I've always wondered if the Airfix Hussars would suffice for SYW, and now I know...
