At the public library in Bree

Posted by Susofrick on 16 May 2017, 15:12

This was my entry in the latest competition. I didn't think I would finish it in time, but I did and had great fun in the competition. But our friend Peter told me there is a Bree! And they HAVE a public library! So I checked and it looked nothing like my little scene so something is wrong somewhere! :-D Anyway, here's a pic: Walls and floor are Prince August's Fantasy Build Plaster moulds (the walls are doubled in height), books, bookshelves and some furniture are Thomarillion (great shop) and the rest are Mithril Miniatures 32 mm.

Great scene, that's the kind of place where adventures start.

They do have a copy of The Red Book of Westmark, but it's out at the moment. I have no right to say they name of the borrower, but he is quite famous. And grey.

I like it a lot. Do they have Aristotle's book of comedy in that library? :xd: (hint: The name of the Rose ;-) )

It takes real imagination deciding on what books need placing on shelves,
it takes less imagination to read them, because one is actually reading another`s imagination.

I like everything in the picture and did recognize it before as your work Gunnar, even without the dogs! BB

Dogs are not allowed in the library! Some customers are allergic so no pets in the public library.
