Still working on my project :-D

but here is some photos of another related project I've painted some years ago : a Napoleonic sea battle in 1/1200 scale (Langton miniatures metal models), mora than 30 ships, Spanish, British, French (and also a pirate ship) for wargames (like Trafalgar, Aboukir and many others sea battle).

Wow, looks great. And its so small! In this scale those masts and riggings are much exaggerated in thickness but that must be the only way to do it without braking apart after one game and I still love to see so much detail on the ships. Did you attach all those lines yourself?

Yes, the rigging was made after painting and assembling the sail with the hull, I first tried to use hairs for that job but it can break too easily, being for wargames I prefered something stronger. All those ship already fought a lot and haven't been damaged by manipulation.

Susofric, there's plenty of crew INSIDE those ships but they just don't want to be on the photo :mrgreen:
