1/35 diorama "The Patrol"

Posted by gerry7944 on 24 Jan 2017, 17:52

This is a 1/35th diorama using Master box figures.

The jungle is scratch built using all sorts of tropical fish tank plants. static grass, home made trees ect ect.

Cheers

In my opinion a very nice, atmospheric diorama. The vegetation, water and figures are all very good. Excellent. Chris

That is a sweet set-up. For some reason, I started out thinking that it was Vietnam. Of course it is WWII Pacific theater. Which battle or campaign did you intend you dio to depict?

Much appreciated.

I based it on the battle of Guadalcanal as the Americans and Japanese were in very close proximety to each other and their patrols often clashed in the jungle.

I had already summarized in another thread how much I like your work. I forgot to mention the versatility you show. That's great!
