1/48 tribute to "The Few" diorama

Posted by gerry7944 on 22 Jan 2017, 08:56

This is a 1/48 scale diorama which I made as my tribute to "The Few" during the battle of Britain.

I have deliberatly shown ground crew as their contribution can sometimes be overlooked.

The models are Airfix and the figures are a mixture of Airfix, and Masterbox.

Cheers

Gerry

Nice clean build. Well done. :yeah:
Good use of the room to the base.
The truck do deep trails into the green. :-D
Too wet the runway to restart the Hawker Hurricane I think.
Because the two guy on the wing are really not in hurry!
After refilling an cleaning the window.
The open wing is a nice touch.
Like the man who look for the lost (round) wedding ring.

Terrific. A very nice tribute.

Good to see the ground crew at work. The "welcome home" from the dog is a nice touch and I love the pilot using his hands to replay a dogfight.
