X-mas Druïde

Posted by Dad's Army on 19 Dec 2016, 23:04

Well guys, as you know I don't paint much, and don't show it of here mostly...
But now It is my happy X-mas post on my blog, so I thought to share a photo here as well.

I wish you all a merry X-mas and a fantastic 2017 in health and with lots of painted figures, vignettes and so on.
So to end this year with my work I will post a photo from a Asterix bubble gum figure.
It is the druïde from this well known comic, only I did a small conversion to him.

Meet the X-mas Druïde (ho-ho-ho):

:-D "Well he`s all dressed up for a party that`s for sure."
 " I wonder if he has boiled up a batch of his special potion to get it started."
:sst: " i would be big and strong with a half pint of that."
:coffee: "So would I. in the mean time strong T will have to do."

Dad I was most impressed by the iron pin running through your sculpted Santa cap.
That's what Germans call Grundlich! :-D

Hello,

this guy is cool.
I bet Santas are just a christianized version of druids. That's why this conversion is so straightforward.
