Benno

Posted by Dad's Army on 11 Oct 2016, 21:12

Hi guys,

Most of you who know me, are aware of the fact I never post my figures here.
Made myself a task to post one every month on my blog, and that's it.
But this time I will share a figure wit you all, he is 30 mm high.
A few years ago I found this figure, and did try to get his real name (see here)
but nobody did know... And during my search of new Asterix figures for my never ending project,
I did found another on, and had to buy it as well.
Because this figure reminds me of my son, and those who know him can tell me if I am right.
I had so much fun painting this little fellow, and because Benno brought me into this hobby,
I decided to mak a small tribute to him with this figure. The founder of this forum..
Yesterday was his birthday, so that was the day I did post my blogpost.
Today I will show you all my little tribute to Benno ;-)

Happy birthday, Benno, btw.

Remco,
The Company is Boneca, and that is the only name on that poster where you can view toys.
They make lots of modern dolls so mostly girl stuff.
i have looked on line for figures that could make up a set,but no luck.
It would be good to have his age.
Although i went through tons of toy stuff from yesteryear. BB

Yeah Paul, I have also searched a few hours already.
Seen some nice stuff but only a few foor sale, at very high prices :eh:
So I hope to find some cheap figures, and still looking for them.
Just a matter of time, and concerning my painting speed, I have years of time
