Men of Harlech stop your dreaming,
Can`t you see their spearpoints gleaming,
See their warrior`s pennants streaming
To this Battle Field.

Men of Harlech

Men of Harlech onto glory,
This shall ever be their story,
Keep these fighting words before ye,
Welshmen never will not yield.

Hi Guys,
The Men of Harlech ,Beautiful Figures are a half set from A CALL TO ARMS 1/32 Scale British Infantry. Zulu War! I have others on order, because i sure do like that marching pose. Rifle slung over the right shoulder, and perfectly correct. BB

Very Good News
Having waited years to be able to aquire these,I bought the entire stock from Model Hobbies, 10 Boxes, and 7 more Boxes of the Men of Harlech. So I now have 20 Boxes ( 16 to a box.) which make up 10 complete sets. I saved £51 by not having to buy them elsewhere, like for instance E Bay USA.

Image

This gives me more than enough for a 1 to 1 of British Infantry at Rorke`s Drift. The easy to obtain Zulus can be added a few boxes at a time. Boy O` Boy! That is one scratch build i will look forward to doing.
I`ll post a few shots later. BB

There was a time when i was wondering is it worth placing the A CALL TO ARMS Zulu War Figures here, because i had a doubt that i would be able to obtain this hard to obtain set shown above. Mainly this is due to the producers not keeping up with the times. There are web sites showing pictures of this set,but in reality they do not have them in stock, and this is a Carrot to get customers to buy other stuff before notifying one these are unavailable. I managed to obtain the whole stock from model Hobbies so i feel showing the first few sets have been well worthwhile. So these are very welcome both here and in my private collection. I hope you like them.

There are now Ten Volumes that make up BB`s Toy Figures. This i know only far to well after cataloging each one of them.
This i am fully aware of too, there are an odd few more to add. BB

The Tramp COPYRIGHT 1903. A Rare Find.

It might seem The Old Guy is down on his luck.He is a Wanderer. Yes Indeed he certainly is,but always he has a bright eye overseeing his activities. He travels from the East to the West, and for him 1776 Rings a Resounding Bell of Freedom.
There are many like him. Poor Robinson was one,as was old C Dickens.

The tramp is a fabulous figure, if you'd asked me to picture a tramp in my mind's eye he would have looked exactly like this chap. If someone put him in a set of 1/72 figures I'd love to buy a box.

A tramp under copyright is a curious idea though, I don't suppose he gets the money.

Good to see the sailors from my Dad's era too.

If it is possible for me to do so,I hope to show you soon the Full set of vintage Creek and Trojan toy figures from the 1950`s early 1960`s.___________i managed after a huge amount of time to post just one picture. tinypics is not downloading pictures, but shows a blank white screen most of the time. A world wide problem , when I Googled the Why ? of it all.
Perhaps their system has been hacked into,so don`t download Window Repair tools flashing from there. BB

Of course the symbols on their shields will not live up to today`s scrutiny, but remember guys these are vintage toys of yesteryear ,and not models. One would have been wide eyed over joyed to have received these upon an early 1950`s Xmas Day Morning .
I have a boat load of these coming______ :read: " But no Boat BB."
