BB`s Toy Figures

I was really pleased to be able to find these in a large job lot of Period Piece Cowboys & Indians. Three rare Crescent poses from 1957. Once they shone upon a toy shop shelf 60 years ago. Sixpence each in UK old coin Sterling. Needless to say I did not pay a penny for these, because combined postage on three lots won, more then saved me a mint of money. So I class theses as Freebies. These are 60mm figures and will clean up well and will look as fresh as they were when they were spit out of the moulding machine. The other odds and sods in the delivery has already been shown on page one of this topic, and so no need to show them here. AIRFIX copied these types of poses in 1/32 scale, and those figures in turn were copied in Hong Kong. What goes around comes around. BB

Another collection used but in good conditioned arrived today. It had been a huge lot on E Bay,and 146 figures was a terrific win. They are rather in need of cleaning but I do that always anyway.

I think I'll wait for pictures of the figures before I make a comment! Nah, just kidding. :-) This is a topic that I like to visit often and drool over the figures. Didn't save many of my figures when my parents move from the house and to an appartement so this is a way to look at my old figures (and a lot of others) and have nice memories. And it saves A LOT of space too! :-D At least for me!

Thank`s for your many visits Gunnar.
A boxed set of 6 to 8 Herald, figures mint condition can fetch £150 -£180.Very nice to see them, but it is the well used played with complete figures ,that I truly like the very best.
:sst: "without chewed in teeth marks of course." The little button said,he certainly knows me well.
 " History in BB`s hands."

 "Designed for any flat bottomed toy boat."
:sst: " yes model boats you see have an entire hull that has to be deep sunk into a watery base."
 "So these are perfect for any playful scene." Magic! :-D BB

A New Collection of Napoleonic Toy Soldiers.
Fantastic figures from

The 36 French infantry are heavily outnumbered by the Prussians numbering 90,but they do have cavalry support seen at the very bottom of this post.

These will go well with the classic AIRFIX toy soldiers of yesteryear that can be viewed within this well liked open ended topic that I started years ago.
I will have to check if any pictures are missing.

The French heavy cavalry fresh out of their boxes and the washing up bowl . Hopefully they`ll dry before Mrs B,gets home. I clutter up the rest of the house but not Mrs B`s Kitchen.
:sst: "it`s just not allowed."
I`ll photograph them all a little later. See ya soon :-D BB
