Zvezda - WWII guns

Posted by FrankM on 29 Sep 2010, 06:52

Hello,

more news from Zvezda: WWII guns.

http://www.network54.com/Forum/47210/thread/1285708816/New+Zvezda+braille+scale+stuff

I´m not realy exicted about the sculpting, but the figures seems to be multi-pose in plastic. A first step on the right way.

Best regards

Frank

These are probably the best news I have received this year thus far. They all look great and are certainly in my acquisition radar. The sad fact is of course is that the 105mm Gun should at least be manned by 10 men. The two provided here represents 20% of the requirement and as such we need to fill the vacancies with crews that are not readily available. I believe the 45 mm soviet gun should also have at least 3 more crew members.

Nonetheless these are really cool models that must be acquired. JOY!

I really need flak/pak crew, more Russian/Allies than Germans.
I'm not so sure about these figures.
Since I discovered ACE etc. I'm not so interested in softplastic guns anymore(lack of details etc.).
Don't know if they are worth buying them for me.

Well, an "E" for effort! I really like the German stuff, but ought not a 105 have more than a 2 man crew?
