It is interesting to note the illustrations on the boxes. While the Romans and Britons retain the original illustrations (very well digitally retouched), the other two are more creative and innovative (including possible portraits of Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Basil Ratbone).

I'm definitely going to order all four individual sets. I fondly remember the battles my brother and I used to stage with these figures in our bedroom when we were little (we also made the men of Nottingham and Robin Hood become Romans and Barbarians).
