What good news if it's finally true. And the best thing would be not only that they put out new sets, but that they continue to produce all the previous ones. :winky:

Went and had a look, there is definitely something there - "New type~~coming soon :-) "

We shall have to wait and see, however I do see that as a positive, even if it only means that the existing sets are still in production.

Did anyone ever figure out why Caesar stopped making figures for several years?

I have often wondered if their sculpter went to work for Strelets-R. I see some similarities in style between 2008 Caesar and 2018 Strelets-R.

Reports of Caesars' rebirth have reached our ears a few times over the past few years, but no new Caesar sets have reached our mailboxes.

Plastic Soldier Review wrote:New Caesar?
Rumours have been flying around just recently about the return of Caesar to the hobby, with some new production. Today we learn from one of our Chinese visitors that they are advertising their first new set as 'Three Kingdoms (Shu Kingdom Set 1)', which if confirmed would be a great new addition to the range. The Three Kingdoms period followed the end of the Han dynasty in 220 CE. We understand the set will contain 33 figures, but we should point out that images we have seen of the figures only show them painted, so we will attempt to get more details on exactly what the set will contain and pass them on when we hear more.

As of ths morning also on PSR

"Following on from yesterday's news of a new set from Caesar, we now have more details. The first set will be called 'Three Kingdoms Shu Kingdom Set 1' as reported earlier, and contains 33 figures including three personalities. The expected release date is the 22nd of this month. Three more sets are also planned for the future, again all depicting the Three Kingdoms period, but there are no firm release dates for those yet."

I would just be happy if they continued to make their old sets, so much more if they produce new ones. :love1:

from set description :

"Estimated set content : 33 figures (4 generals + 29 small soldiers)"

So, probably, 4 generals are indeed oversized and rest figures not small, but actual 1/72
