Wonderful! One of the best 1/72 manufacturers is back on the market, hourah
The figures look perfect as usual (hope the spears remain straight ), and the oversized generals will be perfect heroes for Fantasy games.
By the way, some sets with oriental ghosts, demons, onis... would be great too (I know, we never stop).

So, probably, 4 generals are indeed oversized and rest figures not small, but actual 1/72

"Heroic 1/72" perhaps? In scale they must be 2.1 or 2.2 metres tall.

That is a very good idea. Better than my plan to chuck the oversized generals in the bin.

Funny but for gaming I adopted using Chin 1/32 figures for my corp leaders and Marshals. The rest of the army is 1/72 so of course they are very prominent and easy to see. Plus you can paint them up a bit more extravagantly than if they were the "correct" size. It's my game so I get to decide what is correct.

I'm so glad that they're back in action. Caesar's SAS box is what got me into 1/72 minis.

Those multi part figures were a great source of spare parts and a ton of fun to assemble, but the finished products were so bulky that they looked like roided up body builders from the 1980s.

Just going through my unsorted figures, I keep finding bags of Caesar figures. Mainly bronze age stuff, but also some of their modern sets, their excellent WW2 British infantry and of course their fantasy stuff.
I have a box of their storm troopers/clone troopers which are a pig to put together nicely but I am going to give it another try, and see if I can get something decent out of them.
I like Caesar and hope they come back strong.

Great! I guess most people - especially those fascinated by uniforms - tend to think that some sort of beauty lies in uniformity, thus we like our figures to be of the same size, something rarely seen in nature or a casual stroll down the street. Same reason why we prefer buying straight cucumbers in the supermarket and avoid the bent ones ... Stupid actually, but there it is. The human brain is a strange thing ...
