They appear to be running straight in to action at Leipzig. Gorgeous figures and the last French unit I actually lack. Must be my lucky day. I've been wanting some nice Marins de la Garde for some time now.

Indeed, they look great, but please have a good look at the scale. Massimo's figures are fantastic, but in my view closer to 25mm than 1/72. Massimo's metal Scots Greys for example are much bigger than the plastic Esci and Italeri Scots Greys which makes it hard to mix them.
Alternatively, you might want to check out the Marins de la Garde by Franznap, which are also wonderfully detailed.

Wonderful animation from Master Massimo.

I love the chap holding onto his shako especially.

They are just born for a good action picture.
