Hi Steve,
have them and they are really nice. They will make good Sarmatians (on foot !).
And the girl is really as nice as you think. :-)
Greetings

Obviously based on the film, Van Helsing - there is a Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman) and an Anna Valerious (Kate Beckinsale) at the bottom left of the Werewolves set, but no Carl (David Wenham).

Funnily enough I watched the film just the other night, it's a good fun movie.

I know I can use the Werewolves, not sure about the Vamps, but I'll probably get them anyway.

Nice one, Alliance!

Thanks, Steve. I hadn't recognized the insp iration for these figures.
The vampires seem a bit more varied. A few seem inspired by classic Nosferatu and Lugosi but there seem to be a Scorcese influence as well. I guess the armor from the movie would be a lot to ask of a sculptor.

It's a bit of romp, it's all over the place - story wise but hey! It's got Kate Beckinsale in it - I'd watch her read the phone book aloud, and it's fun.

Went to the Hannant's site this morning and they were on back order. Tagged them and then this afternoon they came into stock. So they've been ordered.
I expect to get them in between Christmas and New Year, and I have no idea yet how I'm going to fit them into an army, but I am quite looking forwards to them.

I missed these new releases thanks for sharing the info here at Bennos!

Both sets are interesting for me, some real characters among them.
