Aaron, I think it's a yes for me. When they started their raids they were clean. When they came back is something else.

I agree perfect conversion material for the LRDG , most photo`s show them in assorted head gear usually from the parent unit (the one they volunteered from to join the LRDG ) ,so berets are fine , but a head swap is an easy conversion. My use is for the Dragon kit , so 1/72 should be perfect.

On the Strelets forum they confirmed a Vietcong and North Vietnamese Army for 'nam, and LRDG for WW2 which is nice.

Holy poop, those Vietnamese figures look great. Super poses, good mix of weapons, and you can make proper sappers from the VC. Straight improvement over the old Esci figures, and a must buy.

Agreed, at least with the NVA figures this could very well be the case. One of the reasons why I'm going to purchase several boxes of this particular set.

It has been almost 35 years since the back then adequate Esci sets, a contemporary extension of the topic was long overdue imho.
Orion does the job with reasonable quality and unimagined scope.

Although the corresponding Pegasus set is top-notch, a further expansion of the US side would also be desirable.

All I can say is that I am quite happy that my main focus is on WWII.
Because I would lost all my pocket money, immediately.
