Thanks Marc
These figures seem nice and fit well and are good synergy with Recent Streletz output

Haven’t been on the Hat site for ages so don’t know what the progress is. But it might be that some progress is made? Anyone knows more? These sets are now at stage 10.

I pledged for these sets and I am waiting since Januar 2018. And you get no news from HäT. This is not an option to deal with your clients. I think there is nothing we can expect from HäT in the (near) future.

These two sets have been plagued by problems, but the last six months nothing much has moved out of China due to CV-19 , I have ordered stuff direct for our hobby and fishing and all the suppliers are saying the same, I agree its frustrating.

Few days ago their was some discussion about the sets on their forum so I see now. But about the discussion was about the right scale. 1/72 or 25mm.

Yes, and I am not complaining about actual problems. But since the hand-over of the company, no information and reliable facts about new sets or timelines are given. The website is not updated. But you can paticipate on polls if sets that not exist yet should be converted into different scales with one head each or different to convert. :eh: :eh: :eh:

HaT aren't the greatest communicators in the industry. And their release of new figures is spasmodic.

As you'll remember, they once made & released a nearly complete range for the AZW in a fairly short time span.
I doubt we'll see anything like that from them again but they still are of some value.

Their SYW Austrian infantry (figures I'm currently working on) are great. And I like the look of their forthcoming ACW sets. I have to say they look better than the Strelets' ones. I will happily buy a bunch of these boxes.

So, they're still capable, even if they frustrate.

In short: for me I expect nothing from them anymore so all what may come is extra, but the whole thing is a real loss for our hobby.

So won’t bother you anymore with ‘fake news’ from Hat.

Azw took over a decade to complete ! ;-) but could be considered short time by today`s standards .

The ACW range is another good example. I would like to buy these sets as well, but also this range is is on hold since... I have forgotten. And there is no news. So - like Marc - I did not expect anything anymore, but I would like to have my sets, I pledged for two years ago.

I think we're all in agreement that waiting for HaT releases is like watching paint dry......a common saying that must refer to oil-based paint as my Vallejo-acrylics dry really quite fast.

Certainly by HaT's current pace, a blisteringly short amount of time. Indeed, about the correct time needed to paint 15x20 units of Zulus.

I'm optimistically expecting them to release SYW cavalry before the end of the millennium.

I subscribed to the UM Zulus & the Prussian Landwehr. They took a while, communication was poor & I didn't love the figures when they arrived. I think it put me off crowd-funding for good.

HAT have been a godsend for my projects; in the past allowing large affordable armies.

However, their business model even pre Covid was a mystery to me.

The sizing inconsistencies for their own range we’re an incredible own goal, ( Pygmy 1815 French binned).

I would love to use their ACW range, assuming they are correctly sized, ( how many variations of System International’s 20 mm can you manage) but the ranks are currently being filled by their competitor.

I even e mailed them about trying to showcase some of their new product, but.... no answer.

Incredible.

I live in hope but the clock is ticking away.

Best wishes,

Chris

I would love the ACW sets for my project but

What, all of us contribute?

Are you suggesting we should pass the HaT around?

(couldn't resist)

Hannants future page, The ACW sets, the Dragoons , and Austrians ,plus others, so quite a few new sets immanent I would say, the box art on the ACW sets is particularly good.
