Strelets news 2020 - 2024

I don't know much about the WSS uniforms etc., but the pistols look to be the wrong way round. Is it correct for this era?
Edit:- ignore me. Was interested enough to go and look it up. Definitely correct sculpting.

Nice work on the horse sculpting.

I think that "reverse" position of guns permit an easily extraction. (right hand extract left gun).

Still waiting for the upcoming Streletz Christmas release...
The discussion about horse necks is getting better and better. Poor sculptors; they never get it right :-)
What I like about many of the cavalry sets is that they give a lot of great commanders for the Armies. In particular the different French Guards have super potential - with lace all over. Really fashionable.

Tension is rising
Expectations as well

I don't think anyone's put up pictures of the Strelets Vikings set which is out now? They look like the figures from the Stamford Bridge set but that's been OOP for a while. Last time I saw one for sale, it was like 60 bucks on eBay. Least we can finally buy them again (just in time for Vikings Season 6 B).

I can see this set on eBay now, so you can order them already.

Sorry to interrupt the actual sword and shield discussion.

On PSR I see the complete set of the Foreign Legion. (Strelets)
Poses and there duty, or not like this (Dio builder like me) we need so much more for several timelines.

Sorry if I venture into a wee-bit offtopic here, but what's a good place to order Strelets from in Europe? I used to get everything I needed from Hannants, but due to Brexit ordering from Hungary is not really viable...

Personally, I stopped buying hobby items from UK based distributors already some time ago.
Several online shops I use carry Strelets, among other manufacturers, of course.

Pretty sure there must be a lot more (& better) options on the continent.
Good luck with this shopping quest! ;-)

I buy from model_hobbies (https://www.benl.ebay.be/sch/Speelgoeds ... el_hobbies). Good service and postal costs are low. And yes it is UK.

it has it mouth and nose in the water. The soldier
loading his heavy Dragoon Pistol is a pose i like.
Well it is all great looking stuff.
You younger ones are sure lucky. BB

For anyone in the USA, Michigan Toy Soldier gets the latest Strelets-R sets about the same time they are released in Europe. They are pretty good to deal with.

What a banner year for WSS figures. These are a nice addition.

The dismounted dragoons look like their most exciting WSS set so far. They have set some very standards with this range.

It seems we'll have dismounted dragoons and dragoons on standing horses (similar to the recent Prussian Napoleonics). These are superb additions.
Concering artillery, I find that the Zwesda sets from the Northern war marry well with these Streletz - in terms of size and figure quality.
More good surprises, please (yes, I know I need to go to the Streletz site to say that :-)
