Well - me too, but that would leave us with the problem 'which ones'. With 1812-1814 Prussian cuirassiers you have the problem that you must decide for which exact date you produce them. In early war, Prussian cuirassiers didn't wear any breastplates. In the 100 days campaign, the armoured cuirassiers played no significant role.

So I would suggest the best way would be to produce cuirassiers without breastplates because they can be used for more battles. Or Strelets must produce two different sets.

I think it is quite nice to have at least these special units in plastic. There are some sets with Prussian Uhlans in metal and also the HäT figs in plastic, which are basic but still ok, imho. So I am happy to have the 7th Uhlans. And I think we should wait and see what Linear-a is going to presents. They have announced Landwehr cavalry.

But you are right with the already released Uhlans. They have counterpaulettes, I have not realised. I am going to paint them as 5th Uhlans. Maybe I will simply ignore them or I have to cut them of... :eh:

That's a very nice figure of the officer in a greatcoat.

I'm happy to see those lancers for part of the 7th Uhlans one of the best things in the hobby is when manufacturers give us figures for the smaller, quirkier, more interesting looking units. I'm also happy to see a source for correctly shaped Prussian czapkas. There was a lot of variety in Prussian cavalry uniforms, now we can model some of it.

I could, perhaps, see some of those french Horse Grenadiers in tartan coats; depends what's in the forthcoming Redbox set. ;-)

239 - WSS Chevau-Legers and Gendarmes de la Garde seems to be part of one of the next release batches as well. :yeah:

The same goes for the figures of their counterparts.
238 - WSS British Cavalry

The respective horse poses are identical with those of the two already shown and equally imminent WSS sets.

I think I will get me some War of the Spanish Succession cavalry. They look really good.
Sculpting of Strelets' horses had improved significantly.

I have been painting Strelets WSS infantry for an imagination project and they are lovely figures. Their cavalry previews look good, but I do notice a focus on rather unique units, limiting their use for building historical forces. Maybe they'll do some more generic dragoons somewhere down the line.
