The French légionnaires are all cozy and stuff, but the uhlans might be 7th regiment Hellwig Streifkorps. So Prussians for Waterloo.

I will buy at least three packs of the LRDG set. The best set of figures I've ever seen. All figures are ideal for dioramas. I can also use all figures for the early Israeli army.

Greetings, Jens Hilgraf

241 - WSS French Royal Horse Grenadiers
They will most likely be part of Strelets next release batch, hopefully before Christmas. :yeah:

They look very toasty in their fur caps.

Now I want to see some of these painted up by our forum masters!

Africa corps, mortar squad, masters.
Well, that’s a nice and welcome addition!
Good poses I think. Perhaps there are more detailed mortars already on the market, so I might use them. But let’s wait and enjoy these. :-D

Pith helmets? Goggles? A variety of boots? Scarves? A mortar team actually interacting with the mortar?

I vote for the marc zijp option too.
In this forum is the majority vote (As an example please have a look at the monthly painting competition, that you know !) state of the art.
Now these is the double amount of vote for thumb up, not to die.

I am so sorry for your Bluefalchion.
But rules are rules, you have to follow them too.

In my version of heaven, there are sets of miniatures that have never existed on earth, all 100% historically accurate and with well-sculpted hands and faces.

In my version of heaven, the paint never goes dry and the glue never sticks in the tube.

In my version of heaven, all of you are present, too. And we do not have to work so we can spend time talking about modeling, wargaming, painting, and enjoying our favorite beverages.

That’s a wonderful thought to start this weekend with.
As a little side note: hope things are better next year so we can go to FIGZ Arnhem again.
Always good to have those talks and chats tête-à-tête for at least once a year again!

I'm a bit unhappy that Strelets makes models for certain regiments instead of generic Uhlans that formed the bulk of the Prussian cavalry and could also be used as Landwehr cavalry. Nevertheless, they look fine. The "Prussian Uhlans" are technically Lutzow Uhlans (for Waterloo - two squadrons of the 6th regiment of Uhlans) and require some scalpel work to look like regular Uhlans. These new guys can only be used for one regiment (two squadrons of the 7th regiment of Uhlans). At least, you could cut off the czapka heads and glue them onto the torsos of the "Prussian Uhlans" in order to get some Bremen lancers (one squad of the 6th regiment of Uhlans). ;-)
