The figures do indeed seem to be WWII Allied LRDG.

The artillery piece should represent the French WWI 37mm Canon d'infanterie modèle 16 .
A widely used infantry support gun, often manned by US Doughboys as well.

Both previews for future sets, without any specific naming or numbering so far.

Finnish anti-tank squad in winter dress. Sprues and figures.
No expert on the Finnish equipment, but I see some nice poses and quite sharp figures, don’t you think?

No expert on FFL, but the shovel worn at the hip and the long type of bayonet seems to me to be plugged into a berthier rifle and that all indicates probably around WW1?
So most likely, in my opinion, no AWI zouaves e.g. but indeed French foreign Legion.

The Strelets team must be having a field day with the lrdg/Sas//commando/8th army etc. WW2 North-Africa theme!

The FFL commonly amputated the hands as punishment for indecorous behavior.

Some teasers. And probably you all know by now that the shipment with the new lot is stuck in Dover. So more patience is needed. But we the 1/72 fans have that in abundance so not too much of a problem. ;-)

They seem French mounted musketeers, if you look at the cross on their breasts, don't they?

And finally the good news! :-D

Dear Sirs,

our new lot of figures having undergone all kind of tests has proven to be safe for use by people of 4+ y.o.
A previous terribly misleading sign showing age limitation for people between 0-5 y.o. has been covered by a sticker showing proper age limitation of 0-3 y.o., thus giving us an additional chunk of customers between 3 and 5 years old.
With that increase of our customer base we will surely bounce back to yet unprecedented heights and we will start that climb with distribution of the new lot, that consists of 15 new sets:
M139
M142
155
204
211
222
227
228
229
237
245
246
247
270
290
and 5 re-issued sets:
M114
M119
M122
M127
172
The first lots have been sent to various destinations in Europe and should reach shops there next week. UK shops along with Australian and NZ ones will receive the new lot next week as well. US shops will follow suit shortly thereafter.

You may contact your local suppliers for the products.

Enjoy your week-end.

Best regards,

Strelets
