Irongate Scenery - new resin company

Posted by Fire at Will on 08 Dec 2019, 22:38

Spotted these at the Recon show yesterday. Lots of Resin and MDF stuff mainly orientated at 28mm, though they do say they will consider scaling up/down. I bought some cannons, originally for my 28mm pirates, but bought more for my 20mm forces as the 9pdr seemed the right size along with the mortar.

They're nice but the barrel on the 9pdr looks a little short,

thanks for this information @Fire at Will!

I just asked Jordan of Irongate Scenery via e-mail, if he could provide the skeletons in 1/72.
He said it would be no problem! Probably you should just ask him, when you are interested in some of his stuff.
I hope that one could simply chose 1/72 scale at his webshop in the future

It is especially nice as the old Caesar skeletons aren't avaible anymore and i dont like those Dark Alliance undead :-D

I just ordered a few figures from Irongate Scenery in 1/72 scale, take a look at the photo:

the two figures for comparison are a Zvezda Russian Warrior and a painted Caesar Skeleton 8)

As you see the size of the figures matches well. Also the printing quality is very good :-D :yeah:
However the material is quite brittle (resin), so it's likely that some thin parts could break.
Also the price is quite high (I paid the same price as 28mm scale)
