This particular pose is actually well chosen. Good for foxholes/mg pits.

Nice looking gentlemen.

The MG 42 suggests mid to late war and I would respectfully suggest the boots should probably be the short infantry boots.

However, Normandy units to be fair did have supplies of the older kit.

Machine gunners and helpers usually had a pistol and not the magazine pouches shown according to my sources.

Whilst the 50 round drum was used, later war pictures usually show troops draped with extra ammunition.

In order for us to be succesful and cover more original subjects we need to have commercial lines as well, producing a set is very expensive.

Exactly my thoughts.
At the last Dioramica a dealer told the story I have heard so many times, WWII, WWII, WWII, Napoleonic area and then the rest is his sale.

In my opinion you should stay away from the standard fighting pose that the big players like Italeri, Revell, Cäsar do.
A German radio operator crew like Toxso Models only announced a few years ago.
A bakery team. Or wounded, fallen in the battle like your live like ACW poses. Fleeing German soldiers without weapons.
Walking civil people, walking armed civil people useful for German Volkssturm or as partisans. Etc ...

I think that this poses, figure are not in competition to the big players.
Will sell.
That is what we here (or me) need, want.

3-I don't like WWII figures and especially some of them .. ( or even I don't matter of the size of their boots ).
4- I don't like Nappies (and count the buttons number .. )
5- My zone of interest is very restrictive , I know ...
6- I think that people buy figures that they can find and don't buy the ones which don't exist !

... etc.....

Ok but :
What means "expensive" ? 100€ for one figure ? 200 ? 300 ? 500 ? more ??
I've seen here some painters who produce their own 3D figures for their own use.. (I suspect some to shut up about the way they use for create their figures but that's another story ..)

Maybe I will hurt some of you but I'm too old to be politically correct...

This soldier and machinegun cost 100 euros to produce, now imagine a small set of 5 figures. Even if WW2 is popular there is no way telling how many copies it will sell, someone has to take a risk.

Yes I agree 100%, I regret that I didn't start on WW2 instead, big mistake... I know Preiser did a refugees set but that's something I've been thinking about, but the cost of 5-10 figures= $$$ a lot. And we have our ACW casualties that can be turned into WW2 casualties.

A small set of 5 figures is about 500€ to produce ! not difficult to understand that !
