I forgot this one and probably wasn’t the only one.
At least two new master figures means it’s a new set. (Boer war) Highlanders in Attack:

The above mentioned set Highlanders in attack + Prussian order arms are delayed until spring 2020 (mold problems).

The Boer sets look interesting. Am I the only one who isn't in the slightest bit interested in the Nap sets currently being produced? It's not my period of interest, but I did previously enjoy and appreciate the advancing sets/action/firing.

The French Infantry seems another great army of Sergeants!
With the muskets on the right, but wrong shoulder. ;-)
i well remember the ones they produced before at my cost.
Something more positive, they do look solidly good. BB

I seriously think I’m in the middle of making a historical mistake by not stepping into the WSS. They are just too attractive. But I got too many projects (and they are quite ambitious too). Like Borodino and other Napoleonic theatres. So as a response to Rich W.: I’m very happy with the Napoleonic Russians. I waited for over a decade for marching and standing Russian Infantry. In about a week some 855 napoleonic Russians will arrive in casa Marc! :-D
Strelets has said several times that all lines who now have only standing/marching sets will be supplemented with advancing/firing etc.
On the other hand they once said they doubted to continue this policy because of the sales, but not sure what their exact words were and in what context so don’t hang on on this!
Thanks Erich for posting the whole lot. I appreciate this contribution.

And as a matter of fact: I don’t think this will be the only set of Brunswicks. That’s so not like Strelets.

Those flags draped over the bods!!!
Replacing the ones from the "in Advance" set was not so difficult but the ones on the firing line ones! They will take some serious surgeory to remove and replace!!!

Also, Maybe it´s down to the angle/set up of the pic, but does the kneeling firing bod look a bit on the large size compared to the two Grenadiers next to him?

Lovely sculpts all the same. They really will put me in the poor house if they Keep this Level of sculpting up.

I agree totally with you, Brok_Santatusca. Unfortunately, being Strelets, there is always a big difference between the masters and the final figures. I hope this time isn't so. :(

Best regards.

Santi.

Those WSS figures look great.

Santi-I bought the 'In Advance' set and they are really nice-there is not much difference between the original masters and the actual finished set.

I don't think they help themselves with the colour of plastic chosen for the finished figures-looks quite shiny on most of those pictures and details cannot be seen as well. But with primer or wash on I'm guessing some of them sets will come up quite nicely.
