Renaissance Harbour at the time of Sir Francis Drake

Posted by Taipeh on 06 Oct 2019, 09:53

Hello,

Erik Trauner sculpted for the label Nikolai Exclusive Miniatures the start of a new range "Harbour in England at the time of Sir Francis Drake
Of course, our Michel Vogt is not entirely innocent of this development, which is why he then had to paint the figures :-D

Pictures say more than a long description, so here:

further sets are in preparation and will be launched by the end of the year. Included is an Admiralty room, in which the Admiralty is grouped around a model of a bigger warship and discusses the construction of this new ship for the English fleet. We will offer the complete room including the furniture.

A good addition to a harbor wharf is the kit "Golden Hind" from AIRFIX

Michel Vogt is happy, and hopefully more modellers.

Ciao
Michael

It is not only the pose and the quality of the figures. They are painted so great.
For me on top as a small detail are the different color of the apples.

Utterly fantastic figures and painting. Not my era, but now I almost wish it was.
