I do not think so. Linear A are German and Red Box Ukrainian. Haron of Red Box has said on the Strelets forum that he has worked with UR but is no longer doing so.
However there must be some links between them somehow, I suppose they all talk to each other and cooperate on projects. These are some things I know or have observed:
a) Haron seems to be the motivator of several companies - Orion, The Red Box and the Alliance companies.
b) He employs a very good sculptor or two - one of whom produced some very nice Jacobite Rebellion figures, which were released and promised much and gave us three very nice sets.
c) Strelets appear to have picked up the masters from Red Box for the WSS - Strelets usually use a straight sprue for figures, Red Box a radial sprue, the WSS figures are on a radial sprue and very similar in style to the Red Box Jacobites.
d) The style of the masters displayed by Linear A, is very similar to those shown by Strelets - 'coppery' looking figures, very well made. The two sets of Amazons by linear A and Red Box are perfectly compatible, and the horse poses now being used by Linear A are the same as those used by Red Box's Mounted Amazons, even down to the errors in the poses.
My guess is that there is a very talented sculptor - who is also quite prolific - whose work is being used by more than one company. Also some of the sets he has designed for one company are being traded between companies for whatever reason - that's their business, but as far as I am concerned the sculptor's work is excellent and I can't wait to see more.
I think this sculptor produces nice useful poses, which are anatomically correct, painstakingly accurate, well observed, very well executed and the more of their work I can get I will be a very happy bunny.
