Another new set from Orion published at the Redbox homepage : WWII German Anti-resistance troops. Someone better at putting photos maybe can fix that. Looks to be some interesting poses (with some perhaps too far off). Definitely on my purchasing radar.

The guys in long coats from the Anti-resistance set have great gangster potential.

Or Volkssturm. What’s the fifth figure bottom row holding in his hand? Third figure top row is also holding something unidentifiable. Anyone?

From the left allright.
I’m not too convinced about the grease gun nor the headset options you gave.
We’ll see, as long as nobody else got an idea.

The M3 and M3A1´s which replaced the the previous single M1928A1, .45 ACP became Standard for US Tank Crews in WWII and into the 1990´s

As far as I know, There´s no other WWII or pre WWII SMG that Looks like it
Early in the war this was the Thompson submachine gun, but from 1943 it was the M3 'Grease Gun' that became more common,

Aha!!! Now I see what you mean. I thought you meant the US tank Crew  :xd: My bad.
The Resistance lot? No idea what they are Holding. 5th one Bottom row. A large Yo-Yo? The other, 3rd top row. A crutch to support his incredibly Long legs when Standing still ?
Strangely..the last one Bottom row Looks, with the way the Barrel Looks too thin for an MP 40, like he´s Holding a grease gun :-)

We need to see them from a better angle. Top guy maybe is holding an axe or a hatchet? If so, he is carrying it strangely. Bottom row guy may have a canteen by the strap. Offering water to a captive resistance fighter?

Or cold war spies. :-) The officer and the dog would work for me too, and maybe some of the other troops with a bit of a helmet conversion.

The third figure in the top row, could he be holding a rifle that has been foreshortened because we're seeing it from a funny angle?

The guy on the bottom row? my first thought was some kind of sticky bomb, but then I realised he was ANTI-resistence not resistence so probably not. The canteen is a good suggestion it does look like something thats hanging from his wrist rather than something he's holding.

Orion do two sets of useful poses. Unusual ideas. Beside the mainstream of German WW II sets. I only miss some woman in the boxes.

Some Greek and Belgian, Norway, Hungarian, Finish (not the Strelets one please) and refugees sets would be nice too.

Here´s a fun game...find the bits of the photo Montage from the boxart.

I´m starting to think the boxart has little to do with the titel.

Americans wearing Military inspired Trenchcoats 1943

So the Trenchcoat wearing poses would be usefull as G-Men/Gangsters :-D
Conclusion..photomontage has Zero to do with the titel.

I was mistaken. I took a picture from the technical task, it was there as a fashion sample for that period. :( Sorry
