That's what I thought. But...I don't get it.

Well, Hat made such a (phoney?) boxart before. They had a picture of a big box with old airfix style boxart, containing all the Hat Assyrian sets: infantry, allied infantry, chariots and cavalry.
In this way I think they show in a subtle way how they still cherish their old memories of their childhood too, like most of us do.
And how they still are a company with a love for plastic soldiers.
Nothing more I guess, just a bit of  fun.

The Austrian “action” set doesn’t strike me as such, one pose standing at attention, a reloading pose in a very relaxed stance, these look less like soldiers in the middle of a battle and more like soldiers on the training ground or guard duty.

Oh, got all those memories now coming. With my friends to the toyshops and watching all those new and old boxes. We couldn't order anything, no webshops, no PSR, nothing.
So staring at the boxart over and over again and peeping through the transparant plastic window, shaking the boxes to see all the figures. The bravest one asked the shop manager of he could open the box for us, always scared he would get angry at us boys.
That romance is gone. Life is easier now, well: in this case it is.

(we just yell and fight at the forums if we aren not satisfied)
