The new sets don’t have a small seperate sprue with staff. I remember people requested that on the Strelets forum: more staff, not on one separate sprue. Although I don’t know if that was of any influence on that changed policy. But to be fair: most of them are useless to me.
Anyway: apart from some (rather minor) mistakes and strange decisions I can live with most of the new sets.
We’ve already discussed the minor quality of the French WW1 sets and the loss of crispness compared to the masters on some. I’m looking forward to the napoleonics, in particular the French guard marching.
My Waterloo projects are very close to finishing, when talking about the French and British site and purchasing big amount of troops.
Probably I will purchase one set of British colonial skirmishers, which will be a nice addition to the north east Africa campaign.
Next, in autumn: hopefully a whole lot of Russians for Borodino!
