I am hoping that these fellows are 1809 ( ish) French infantry, most use for a new project inspired by the Dioramica.

Standing at attention is pretty useless for me but marching etc will be most useful if the recent format is repeated.

I can only hope the scale size is standard.

The Old Guard were midgets unfortunately.

Best wishes,

Chris

No, not Russians. I wish they’ll make Russians, because I need about 550 marching Russians in Strelets format.
They have no rollen coat over their body, but I think I see long habits. And an eagle on the shako. I see no shapka’s either, so most likely no Polish too.
Cannot make it out yet, other than French, but no fuseliers.

Good quality Russians in summer uniform are a great need.
Line, jagers, even Guard.

The Esci ones are not great & the Zvesda are the only alternative but not enough command figures per box. I do use some of the Strelets' overcoated figures but they're pretty poor.

I've been hoping for HaT to do MAC sets. Hope is a wonderful thing.
The "new" Strelets figures would do nicely, I think, but again, I don't think they'll include more than 1 officer, drummer, ensign per box.

Borodino is on hold.

;-) Hope and patience. That has brought me far.

The Russians in Mac for 1812 period will come, once. ;-)

1806 French style uniforms including the waistcoat and long gaiters ?

I thought they could be Polish? Or even Swiss? but the uniform is not correct for them to be so. If the shako were to be1812-1815 period then the uniform is wrong.

This is one of my Pinterest Pins showing French Uniforms of I suppose their line Infantry? 1806 style uniform but with no cords. Do they have a frog for bayonet and a short sword beside it? BB
