17 action-heavy poses and a good variety of weapons. :yeah:

Clearly aiming at the Battle of Bir Hakeim, but definitely useful for some other engagements as well.

Pfew! Time to send some Flowers to Strelets. Amazing output and their quality is better than ever. Original choices, filling up the gaps, affordable and what not. :yeah:

10 poses for a sufficient crew, another reason to like the recent Strelets output.

Anyone know how Strelets-R sales have been? Zvezda was making gorgeous sets from many many periods for years, then they just stopped with no fanfare whatsoever.

Some of Strelets's older sets are completely sold out. And I noticed that the Jacobites sets disappeared from all of the dealers sites. This is surely not the most popular period in the hobby so if these sets sell out other more mainstream sets must be selling well. The Hannants future release page had the Jacobites listed as due for re-release, I'll buy some more. :-) It seems people are buying Strelets sets so I hope they're doing OK.

Regarding Zvezda, I read somewhere that the man running the company died and that the new management had different ideas about the direction the company should go, i.e. the small gaming piece sets.

Since the game systems seem to have flopped in various degrees I wonder if there's any chance they will go back to making proper sets. They are at least restocking their existing large sets.

I have also read that the interested man at Zvezda died. Let's hope that the Strelets-people are alive and well.

About the Zvezda man: that’s correct, alas.
And the former man behind Hät had a serious so I read several years ago and others are running the business for about five years now.
Anyone can correct me if I’m wrong of course, but that’s the main reason why Hät’s output is less nowadays.
Taking over a business like this, or like Hät, is quite complex. Many projects running in many places and countries, many different people, communication isn’t always what it should be, things get lost, orders not followed strictly.

WW II Belgians!

How many years is it back when Cäsar announced (not done) a set of Belgian and Holland soldier for WWII ?

And Paul credited that event with five time the one in his post number.

In my opinion, they seem to be more Italian WWI. If they are, Strelets, Waterloo 1815 and Hat, are launching the same troops.

Agree with Jaques. Great for those that are interested in that part of the war. But I think I remember that there were other parts that were just as important. Is there enough British, German, French, Russian troops? Swedish? Well, as long as you have a tricorn you can make some Swedes of existing figures!
