T-MODEL, a promising newcomer to the 1/72 market

Posted by Erich von Manstein on 19 Oct 2018, 22:55

T-Model (also known as Termin Molds) from China is another fresh 1/72 manufacturer I would like to introduce to the forum.
Their 1/72 range kicked off in 2017 and they established an excellent reputation very soon.
Very good detail and interisting subjects. :yeah:

The story so far:
TM-7201 - M1114 up-armored HMMWV
TM-7202 - M1114 up-armored HMMWV with GPK turret
TM-7203 - M1114 up-armored HMMWV Frag5 with GPK turret
TM-7204 - M1114 up-armored HMMWV with M153 CrowsII system
TK-7304 - SSys 50t 4-achsiger Flachwagen/Schwerlastwagen, 4-axle railway flat wagon
TK-7306 - SSyms 80t 6-achsiger Flachwagen/Schwerlastwagen, 6-axle railway flat wagon

Also from T-Model, but marketed by Galaxy Hobby:
GH72A01 - Oshkosh M1240 M-ATV with O-GPK turret, modern mine resistant ambush protected all terrain vehicle
GH72A02 - Oshkosh M1240 M-ATV with CROWS II turret, modern mine resistant ambush protected all terrain vehicle

Note that there are also upgraded and 2 kits per box variants available.
Besides that there are several upgrade and detail sets available separately.
More kits seem to be on the way.

The company maintains a FB-site.

Highly recommended and happy modeling!

Since the last update here, Termin Molds (often called T-Model) has released further high quality kits.
TK73010 - M1A2 SEP Abrams TUSK I with M153 CROWS II (in cooperation with Tiger Model)
Under the trade name Galaxy.
GH72A03 - M1124 MaxxPro MRAP
GH72A04 - M1224A1 Maxx Pro MEAP with MRAP Expedient Armor Program

In addition, they also started to produce 1/72 figures. :yeah:
They started with a small resin set.
TK72003 - US driver & gunner for HMMWV (2 poses)

Now the first very promising looking plastic set has been announced.
