From what I understand from the Landships website, this is a very versatile gun that can also be used as the French Schneider Canon de 105 L, Modele 1913 TR and Russian 107mm M/1910 .

Why Rif War? The uniforms are those worn at the end of the 19th century in french colonial wars.
And the Rif Wars in the 1920ies were merely a conflict between spanish colonial troops and the indigene inhabitants of the region.
So far I know the french forces in french-marocco wore more modern uniforms.
