Very good poses for the subject, I think. And at first glance the proportions look better than the ACW marching figures. Quite like these.

The Figures don't wear Shell Jackets,though :-(
1863,there was no Material left in the South to provide all soldiers with Frock Coats. So most are historically unusable for 'Pickett's Charge'

I agree with you, using frock coats for all their sets was a big mistake in my opinion, it's not an apropriate look and the figures in general are unattractive.

Could the frock coats be painted up in different colors to represent various civilian garb, the items actually worn?
