Manufacturer Thunder Models announced fresh 1/72 kits

More good news for the 1/72 crowd.
After MasterBox, Takom, Bronco & T-Model have already entered the 1/72 market (with admittedly varying endurance & success) over the past years, another previously 1/35 only manufacturer announced its entry into braille scale modeling.

Thunder Models from China will release down-scaled versions of several of their promisingly looking 1/35 kits, namely some Scammell Pioneer variants and the US Airforce tractor Case VAI.

Personally, I would love to see their Morris C9/B Bofors Gun Truck and the Gedeckter Güterwagen G10 in 1/72.

Company officials confirmed the news at their FB site a few days ago.

Happy Modeling!

Thunder Models announced a specific 1/72-release-schedule at their homepage.

We can look forward to:
Case VAI tractor (military and civilian variants) - 11/2018
Case VAC tractor (civilian version with farming accessories) - 11/2018
Scammell Pioneer recovery tractor SV2S - 12/2018 or 01/2019
Scammell Pioneer artillery tractor R100 - at Nürnberg Toy Fair, in january/february 2019

The Case tractors are listed at many online-shops for some time already and are expected to hit the shelves rather soon.
Judging from their previous 1/35 releases and from what can be seen at the manufacturers HP & FB site, this should be excellently detailed kits.
Will definitely order some Scammels this winter. :-D

Really hope they do downscaled 1/72 versions of their fantastic looking railway wagons!
Would buy multiple kits... .
