Those were my first pained in scale 1 72, and first Zvezda set I saw. I was happy because it had on back of the box painted soldiers. That was the good year 2007.

Seems like the Austrian 30 years war figures are also making a comeback, just sad that they're too big...

Indeed, Zvezda officially announced to re-release some of its OOP 1/72 sets two months ago
http://www.themodellingnews.com/2017/12/zvezdas-new-items-for-2018-in-their.html

8045 - Nap. Russian Guard Heavy Artillery
8048 - GNW Swedish Infantry
8057 - GNW Swedish Dragoons of Charles XII
8061 - 30YW Austrian Musketeers and Pikemen
8066 - GNW Swedish Artillery of Charles XII

8512 - Medieval Stone Castle

Those and some actually new 1/72 kits were already linked (albeit not all particularly mentioned) in the "Zvezda news 2018" thread.

Most recently confirmed again in the current "Nürnberg 2018 news list" at IPMS Germany, which was also mentioned in the corresponding thread here at Bennos.

Glad these great figures will be available again.

I saw the Nap. Russian guard heavy artillery for prices like €50 to €250 and they were sold too. I needed some more, but could only get one extra for a rather fair price: €20.
Perhaps this was the Zvezda set with the shortest run?
So very good news: lot of figures (35!) for conversions, three kinds of guns plus a small limber.

That castle is interesting, but I'd prefer if they re-released the Roman fort 8518, or even better completed their Shogun castle..

Listed on Hannants as future releases! Usually this means release is imminent or am I wrong? Can't wait to get those Austrian Pikemen...

I don't understand why it has taken so long for some of these re-releases to happen and why other companies (namely Revell and Hat) don't follow suit. Surely if some of these items are so in demand second hand and comfortably sold out originally this would be easy money for them to just re-release them?! Or am I just stating the obvious...(yes I am!)
