Sorry if this violates any rules. I have no financial stake in these figures, but I think they look really great:

Yes, I totally agree with you.

We will see if they are able to stay in size to the very well made Italeri, Esci, Airfix set.
All Strelets figure that I have seen in the past are huge and a lot are like doll.
Despite at all this set look really interesting.

No question that the quality of this new STRELET sets is better.
I paint the highlanders and they are great.
A new sculptor i supposed.

Not my period, but i love japan.
The right figures to make one of the dreaded Banzai attacks.
Now we need some marines on Guadalcanal. ;-)

Yes, something different like the Cäsar WW II Chinese troops would be very nice.

Ah! Good news.
An advantage of a forum like this. I do not follow Strelets now for a longer time.
Thank you Konrad.

I have not seen a Japanese soldier with a helmet worn over a field cap with the four-part sun curtain modeled in plastic in this scale before. That and the three-quarter and/or rolled up sleeves places these men in warm weather campaigns. Possible opponents could include U.S. Marines, Aussies, Brits, Ghurkas, Dutch/East Indies, early war U.S., etc.
