1/72 Revell news 2017

Posted by Erich von Manstein on 08 Jan 2017, 16:48

Not exactly ultrafresh news, most of it is known since the 01. of January and some announcements were -as usual- already published in early November. But it surely won't hurt to share this here as well.

Figures:
02542 - 7 Years War - Austrian & Prussian Infantry (combined rerelease) 05./2017
02453 - 7 Years War - Austrian Dragoons & Prussian Hussars (combined rerelease) 06./2017
Sadly, again no new figures this year. But certainly a good choice to make the 7YW sets available again.

Vehicles:
03144 - Warrior MCV with add-on armour, modern british Infantry Fighting Vehicle (rerelease) already available since IV./2016
03305 - M109 G, cold war/modern US self-propelled howitzer as modificated german version, (new kit) 09./2017
03306 - T-55AM / T-55AM2B, soviet cold war/modern MBT as upgraded & modificated Warsaw Pact version (new variant) 10./2017
03307 - Leopard I A5 and Brückenleger Biber, german cold war/modern Main Battle Tank and bridge layer (combined rerelease) 03./2017

Ships:
05147 - Patrol Torpedo Boat PT109, WWII US torpedo-armed fast attack craft (new kit) 10./2017
05699 - Black Pearl (Ltd. Edition), 18th century pirate Galleon (Zvezda kit) 05./2017

Furthermore some old 1/76 Matchbox kits:
03215 - Sd.Kfz. 124 Wespe
03216 - M7 HMC Priest
03252 - Sd.Kfz. 11 & Pak 40
All available since IV./2016 already.

Not overwhelming, but some fresh kits anyway. The self propelled gun and PT boat plus the very useful T-55 variant are more than welcomed.
Think they will add another new vehicle or variant in autumn again.

Best Regards

Thank you for the info Erich von Manstein.
The PT boat catch my interest.
And maybe Revell do a set of figures for it next year. Like for the German WWII navy. But I hope with more different and useful pose if they do so.

if only they would rerelease the austrian artillery set.
i wonder if the mould is not up for rerunning,as these other 7yw figures have been rerun before.

Cool to see some old friends back in the shelves. The 7YW sets are welcome as are the old Matchbox kits.
