Modelcollect announces new 1/72 plastic figures

Posted by Erich von Manstein on 25 Nov 2016, 21:24

So far, they released an quite impressive & wide range of plastic kits in 1/72.
A few WWII, but otherwise mainly modern AFVs & Tanks.

Recently they've shown some really nice modern US and Russian figures at their FB-site.

Vehicle crews and disembarking soldiers as well as advancing & in action poses.
Looking very good so far. Will be interisting to see what else they'll come up with. :xd:

I saw them too and well maybe as I don´tknow all figures from all manufactors, but what I saw seemed like a mix of caesar and zvezda miniatures.

Great! To my eye they look like new sculpts. I am waiting for a decent Soviet Cold war/modern tank crew set. Like the Soviet WWII tank crew sets from Orion. Orions Modern Russian Federals have a couple, but would like to have more poses... Elheim Figures have a set of three Soviet crew figure in metal, but they lack legs and have too large heads/tankers helmets so they look funny when put inside a vehicle.

Without much doubt, the upcoming Modelcollect figures are new sculpts.
They could serve with their Zvezda AoT, Caesar, Esci & Preiser cold war/modern comrades and man all the fitting ACE, ICM, Revell, Trumpeter & Modelcollect vehicles. :yeah:

Thank you for the info Erich von Manstein.
It is not my timeline.
But it is very nice to see that Modelcollect is doing very useful pose.
And figure that will fit to open doors and seats.

Some more great looking 1/72 figures appeared at Modelcollects FaceBook site today.
Well sculpted poses of previously unknown modern and WWII vehicle crews plus supporting infantry it seems.
No release dates so far, but it will be well worth having an eye on their ever growing range anyway. :yeah:

ModelCollect became one of the most vibrant 1/72-manufacturers over the last years and they keep releasing new kits at an almost monthly frequency.
Although their previously announced WWII & Modern sets aren't available yet, they showed pictures of further figures at their FB-account yesterday.

Again, very nice WWII & Modern crews (aircraft & vehicles) and supporting infantry.

Well, of course MC designs figures to accompany their own range of vehicles, which is composed of mainly Modern Soviet/Russian (+ an increasing number of modern western) and WWII German AFVs so far. ;-)
My personal preference would be definitive & substantial sets of 1940 French, 1937-45 Japanese, 1940-43 Italian, 1960s-70s Israeli & "Arabian" and 1941-43 Afrika Korps tank/afv crews.
But I don't expect MC (or any other notable plastic company) delivering them in the immediate future.

More pictures of very nice WWII & modern figures at Modelcollects FB-site again.

Not much information on them though.
Would be interisting to know, if those are going to be released as bonus figs within MCs kits range or separately?

Anyway, some excellently sculpted figures there!
