Yes Shapeways do a great Job.

My experience with some of her 3D Products:
I used one of her japanese WWII tank. It is right now not in the same quality as the plastic tank (small one) from Dragon that I put beside. But for me it was ok.

The big one with some mod.

Furthermore there one pice figures are nice too. Different poses. Also not the same level as Esci or Nikolai. But I use they too.

The man in grey who rise his left arm and the "Artist" in the backround.

I change with this figures from white primer to black. Because the used material from Shapeways is clear.
For the bottle set this is an advantage.

But 3D is very pricey. :(

3D - how does it work? Is it a method for sculpting by yourself? To create Your own most wished miniatures?

Which 3D printers are needed? Are there sculpting software programs?
