I don't see the problem as well. When I look at the prices of Schilling or Art miniatures, the prices that Michel mentioned seemed not too much for me. Btw - I bought a dinosaur model for 17€... we should just keep in mind that big producers like Italeri etc. are able to make benefits for themselve just because of the sheer numbers they publish.
So to me, it all sounds fair. The only thing about it is that most figures won't meet my favourite period...

As far as I understand I agree with Zoran. It is some while ago we heard from jetouche, but it could be a good idea to choose a name that is not so similar to another company, it can be confusing for the customers. But it is a very good idea to make these wonderful figures available for some more people!

The Idea is good and b.t.w. really nothing new , it´s Buisness as usual .
Good for the collectors and for the Buisness .
And Michel did ask me to take Part , and i will think about it . But first i have to register a Trademark for better Copyrights .
But there could be Trouble or possible Problems , and i think you should have an open Ear to avoid Trouble .
So good Luck with your Idea , maybe next year i will take Part . :o

About a week ago i did start a almost similar Project , i want to do a small napoleonic Set so i asked for Inspiration and Information .

Some more of the standing Landesknecht pikemen would be good, so we can create a pike block - armoured, unarmoured etc.

Great Figures. Great Idea. It`s not my scale anymore ( i changed too 28 mm Perrys and BlackHussar ), but if. I would ordered it directly.
Thinking about the Price. No way. So many People spend so many Money for stupid things. So the Money is worth it.

Greets Tom

P.S. I'm MX Rider in Summer-Time and my son`s would become MX-Riders too. So i had to spent a lot more money for other toy`s ;-) ;-)

A very good initiative by Michel.
And very nice figures by Alex. These lansquenets are my favorite range of him.

zzed wrote: As for the advertising, I suggest that we allow the guys some initial success in order to push these lovely projects. So far Alex's wonderful sculpts were for the most part completely unavailable to us.

Today we live almost four years later and I wonder what came out of this initiative?
It looks like Alex started his own webshop in between.

But can anybody tell us if this 'crowd funding' system worked out in the end?
Where and how did problems appear?

I think the most members that started the initiative are no longer active here. The figures have been available from Hagen Miniatures, but they are no longer. Why? I did not know!

Maybe the pro's left the amateurs. But who cares.
