Started (again) with Soldier Modeling (1/72).

Hello,

My name is Jan and have recently decided to start (again) with Figures Modeling.
A hobby witch started more then 40 years ago, was replaced by Trains, Computers, Girls and my family. But needed a new way to relax and this helped in the passed and History is always been off interest.

I started so many years ago with Airfix Soldiers, City People etc. And i loved it. Then came Matchbox and Atlantic which ik loved even more.

Nowadays there are many more brands to buy and Collect en i started 2 years ago small, but it grew on me and the (unpainted) collection is now about 2000 1/72 figures. Especial the Waterloo Era is my favorite. But Japanese Samurai (Zvezda), Britisch Colonial (Esci) and the Airfix Royal guards are also favorite.

When starting to paint again, i wil see to make some pictures.

Sorry i missed this new Members first post of his hopes and interests. i do so hope he will join in on the fun here, on this Forum? Although It does seem an age since the 2nd of June of this year,so much has happened especially in daily life. BB
