RIP Traveller1865

Posted by Dad's Army on 14 Dec 2019, 16:37

Hi guys,

I just got the bad news that Amos (Traveller1865) got a stroke at the age of 40.
After 4 days coma, yesterday the stroke has been fatal,
and I can say we lost a man with great passion for our hobby.
Many ideas of figures and other creations came alive, in the finest 3D resin technology.
I sure am going to mis this guy.

So Amos, thanks for all and rest in peace my friend.

Well that is extremely bad news. Amos was one of the movers and shakers in 3D print figures. His list of upcoming Napoleonic projects to fill in the missing gaps of the range had roused some great excitement.

Too bad for his family and friends to lose him, and too bad for us to lose an almost incalcuably valuable resource and colleague.

Most certainly very sad news to read of Amos, in this way.
So young a man taken away in his prime,
for he had a clear vision enough to see things in a different light,
in a very different way and get it done in his hobby and working style life.

It was only a few days ago in this month of December, that i wished him well in all his production methods for the near future.
Although i never personally knew him,
i knew of him so this bad news hit me hard.
He was an Artist of the highest level of small scale production methods,
and so will be deeply and sadly missed in our built up Forum Community.

Of course this i do not know, but feel it worth the saying.
Perhaps his hopes and dreams might carry on in a positive productive way ?
So that others still might benefit from his Company he founded in such a positive way.

My Deepest Condolence goes out to all his family members at this time ,
and also to friends who knew him well.

Most Sincerely, Paul Howes

A terribly sad and shocking news indeed.
He was so active in our hobby, and he presented so many new projects week after week, even within the last days before his stroke.
This is simply terrible, and my thoughts are with his friends and family who have to cope with such a tragedy.
