Hello Again

Posted by Adam on 04 Feb 2015, 00:56

Hi Guys,
Some of you might remember me from a long while ago, Though it has been quite a few years!

I have had a busy few years with kids, works, and other hobbies but recently had started doing a little painting again, and thought I'd drop in at the old place and see whats up. Its looking pretty smart round here these days!

For something of an introduction/re introduction I used to paint 1/72 but slowly moved to smaller scales, and ended up a 10 mm guy. I have recently been carrying on with my 10mm Zulu and WW1 stuff where I left off 4 or more years ago, and have also been working on some 1/1200 Napoleonic ships.

I look forward to meeting some of you, and to catching up with the rest!
take care
Adam

Thanks guys, its nice to 'see' some old and new faces.

Part the reason for my abscence has been archaeology and guitars Suso. I have been writing a book on some Viking graves we discovered http://oxfordarchaeology.com/publications/oanorth-publications/294-shadows-in-the-sand-excavation-of-a-viking-age-cemetery-at-cumwhitton-cumbria, and also playing more music with some friends, on top of two little kids and my viking reenactment, so all in all pretty busy!

How on earth are we not supposed to rebel with you a moderator now Peter? Pff, vive la revolution! Oh dear, I now have images of Peter stood on a barricade singing like Russel Crowe in Les Miserables!

The only thing I have in common with Russel Crowe, is that I can't sing! :-D
After you and Erik (efb, where is he?) left, Benno needed a "good" moderator! That's why he asked me! The outlaw became a sheriff! :winky:

Don't even think about it! Back in the line! :whip:

Oh no, you don't! :angry3: Don't forget I have some pictures of you running n*d* in the snow in Sweden! If you post those pictures of me, I post those of you here to! And on FB!

This almost sounds like the old times of this forum! Teasing and having fun, and about painted figures!

For all these comments above counts this smiley: :joker:

 Adam, who is Adam...

I would just say proof yourself here, and duel the master in the dueling section
6 mm duel would be fun, so here is your moment of fame :joker:
And if you want to start bigger, let's say 20mm you could join the BFFFWP...

now go for it, Adam ;-)

I do still chat to efb frequently, he hasn't improved any though Peter. Neither has the speed at which I paint, takes me even longer if anything!
