...and Rainer the Queen of the Road!!!

In one of our journeys we have visited a member from this forum.
You know him as "despertaferro "
His right name is Joan Benet.
However, he lives in Barcelona and has a wonderful country house
in a small place called El Mila.
There we have visited him.
I have given to him one of our FIGZ-shirts and I believe he has been glad. :-D

Here a few pictures of the space where he keeps his collection.
I wished I would have half of it.

Joan,
it was a great day in your wonderful house and
i have learnt a lot from you about your country.

The rules of this forum allow to me not to write any more.
But I wish you for your work all the best.
It was to me an honour.

Thanks for your hospitality.
Thanks for your time.

Very nice! And if you've got a FIGZ t-shirt you don't take it off, never! It becomes a second skin. :-D

Hi there,

I’m very sorry that I couldn’t answer this post sooner, but lately I’ve been working like a pack mule, 16 hours a day weekends included.

Now, after a long and deep sleep, I feel myself like a human been again :-D .

Thank you very much Konrad for your visit and your presents  . It was nice to meet you and your friend Rainer. It would be great to meet you guys at FIGZ, but I’m very shy and not a social kind of soul. But you’re always welcome (if you come in small numbers… :-D ).

Yes Peter, these are WW2 1:6 Dragon Figures and vehicles, made in Hong Kong. Years ago I begin to collect them (the rates between Eur and Hong Kong dollars being very good and making them not too expensive for my economy). But with the crisis the number of jobs (and the payment!) drop down dramatically and I’d stop buying them.
