Hello. Im Michael, from Poland, 27 year old. Im collecting 1/72 figures since i was 7 years old. First set was 7year war austrians from revell, guess the favourite of childhood times was foreign legion from esci. I've been a lurker here for a long time. Kindest Regards.

I'm new. I painted 1/72 WW2 and late 19th Century about a decade ago. Got back in concentrating on the Napoleonic Period.

I am going to use the figures for wargaming, but I've found researching the uniforms fun and have found the figures very, very challenging compared to fantasy stuff like Reaper or Warhammer. The detail is far more precise and shallow and it's definitely been a challenge!

If you want to acquire likes then any troops will do. For replies it's cavalry. Horses go down very well on the reply stakes.
If you want superlatives it's camels :-D Well, at least from me it is

Thanks for the welcome everyone. So far all I've painted is cavalry and artillery. My first infantry sets of my 1/72 revival just arrived and I've started sorting and prepping them.

Some Italeri/Zvezda cossacks and a piece of fleece I soaked with paint to make a parade ground mat

Some Italeri/Revell French Hussars. I'm still figuring out how to take pictures.

I'll post pictures in the proper gallery sub forums after I've both painted more and figured out taking pictures.
